During her time in Mississippi, Goodman honed her skills by chasing storms in Dixie Alley and was part of the winning forecasting competition team for 3 years, which laid the foundation for her present role.
Emily’s career in television has taken her to numerous places, including WYMT in Hazard, WNKY in Bowling Green, and WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee. She came back to her hometown of Lexington after working as the morning meteorologist at WTRF in Wheeling, West Virginia, for 4 years.
Emily is happily married to Ed Goodman, who comes from Winchester and occasionally delivers sermons at local Baptist churches in the Lexington area.
