In November 2021, Chronis became a part of the FOX 32 news team, taking on the role of a reporter. She came back to her hometown of Chicago filled with happiness as she looked forward to sharing stories that could truly impact the community. Prior to this, Kasey had spent nearly four years in Milwaukee, where she worked as a reporter for FOX6 News (WITI-TV).
Prior to her time in the Badger State, Kasey committed 2 years covering news in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan as she reported for WNDU-TV, the South Bend affiliate of NBC. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University – Bloomington. During her college years, she had the opportunity to do an internship with WTIU/WFIU, PBS affiliates for West and South Central Indiana. Additionally, her connection with Indiana University remains strong, as she has been volunteering as an Alumni Student Recruiter since 2017, showing her support for the Hoosiers.
Kasey’s educational background took deep roots in the Chicago Public School system, where she proudly attended Jamieson Elementary School together with Lane Tech College Prep High School.
From Feb 2013, Kasey has worked with the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation as an Associated Board Member. Therefore helps to raise money for the University of Chicago Department of Gastroenterology, she also volunteers in many charity events such as the foundation’s annual GIRF Gala.
