Seymour Hersh is an American investigative journalist, political writer, and conspiracy theorist. However, he gained fame in the year 1959 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War. In the year 2004, he reported on the U.S military mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison. Apart from that, he has also won two National Magazine Awards and five George Polk Awards.
