Looking for an expansion on her experience, Aalia briefly did depart from her Global News family. So she went on to report on live breaking news for Breakfast Television Montreal, and after that, she went to work for CTV Montreal as a reporter. During this time working in both stations, she did spend a year.
In addition, after Aalia spent a year in live breaking news for Breakfast Television Montreal, and CTV Montreal as a reporter, she came to Toronto to reunite with Global News as an online video journalist and the host and also the anchor of Global News Weekend.
