Aarti began her career working in Terrace, B.C. as a radio reporter, video journalist, and anchor. During her work as a journalist, Pole has done coverage on the launch of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump’s presidential campaigns together with traveling to cover primary races and political stories.
Later also did the second-deadliest mass shooting in recent U.S. history and also the nation’s worst terror attack since 9/11, when a gunman killed 49 people in a nightclub when Aarti was in Ontario. Additionally, Pole also did cover Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s state visit with U.S. President Barack Obama, the first visit for a Canadian leader in nearly twenty years.
While being the CBC News Toronto and The National, Pole covered the local news and politics. Then joined the Toronto team from B.C. So she did work at CBC Vancouver as an anchor and reporter, therefore launching Vancouver’s weekend TV newscast in 2011, and then CBC Radio’s weekend newscasts in the year 2012.
