Elizabeth Kolbert is an American author and journalist who is best known for her Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Sixth Extinction and also as an observer and commentator on environmentalism for The New Yorker magazine.
In addition to that Elizabeth also did serve as a member of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ Science and Security Board from the year 2017 to 2020.

In addition, starting from the year 1999, she has been a staff writer for The New Yorker. However, she is presently working for the New Yorker Magazine as an observer and commentator on environmentalism.
