In addition, being an experienced network reporter in 2018 she did cover the Quebec City mosque shooting, the RCMP shootings in Moncton, the terror attacks in Ottawa and Paris, New Brunswick, and the scene of many other major news events. Heather also did cover the weddings of both Prince William and Prince Harry, and she has as well led the CBC News coverage of eight consecutive Olympic Games.
Furthermore, she has also worked for CBC News: The National as a reporter located in Toronto for 3 years covering international stories for the program and traveling abroad. Additionally, Heather also did work extensively out of CBC’s bureaus in Washington and also London, England.
