Jennifer Lee is an American journalist documentary producer, entrepreneur, and emoji activist. She is a former The New York Times journalist. In addition to that Lee is the co-founder and president of the literary studio Plympton. She is as well the producer of The Search for General Tso, which premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. Furthermore, Jennifer is the vice-chair of the Unicode Emoji Subcommittee. Unicode Emoji Subcommittee is responsible for making recommendations connecting emojis to the Unicode Technical Committee.
