Subsequently, Charlotte, North Carolina became Cody’s new location as she joined WCCB. Being a morning person, she enjoyed the opportunity to wake up viewers as part of the “Rising” show, broadcast from Monday through Friday. In North Carolina, she continued to engage with the Appalachian Mountains but also navigated the unique coastal weather. Cody notably covered Hurricane Matthew in Myrtle Beach and delivered daily forecasts for both the North and South Carolina coasts.
