Marc Lamont Hill is a famous American television personality, activist, academic, and author. Hill is a professor of media studies and urban education at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is currently the host of UpFront on Al Jazeera English. Prior to that, Lamont has hosted on numerous tv stations. He was the syndicated television show Our World with Black Enterprise and also hosts the online Internet-based HuffPost Live. Additionally, Marc was also the former a former political commentator for CNN and Fox News. Still on that, he was a BET News correspondent, but currently hosts VH1 Live! and reunion shows for Basketball Wives. During his work as a commentator at CNN, Hill was fired from his position after the remarks of the U.N. on the Israeli–Palestinian disagreement that were alleged to be illiberal.

Later in 2014, Hill joined the faculty at Morehouse College as an eminent Professor of African American Studies after leaving Teachers College. However, in 2017 May it was announced that he was re-joining the faculty of Temple University as the Steve Charles Professor of Media, Cities, and also Solutions.

He did join Fox News Channel in 2007 as a political contributor, but in 2009 he was fired from the station. So during his work at Fox News, Hill was appearing on The O’Reilly Factor, Huckabee, and Hannity.

Before joining Fox News, Marc was at MSNBC and CNN, as well as Court TV, and here he was a weekly contributor to the Star Jones talk show. After that in 2010 August, he became the host of the syndicated television show Our World with Black Enterprise.
