Meredith Jorgensen is an American news reporter and journalist. She is also an award-winning journalist who won many Associated Press awards and was nominated for an Emmy Award in the year 2010. Jorgensen is currently working at WGAL News 8 as the Lancaster County reporter. In addition to that, she joined the WGAL News 8 team in the year 2003, however, her main goal and agenda is to tell the stories of the people of the Susquehanna Valley.

However, before joining WGAL News 8, she did work for Blue Ridge Cable in Ephrata, therefore anchoring “CNN Headline News Local Edition.”  Jorgensen is also a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

During her free time when she is not at work, she loves reading books, and her most favorite books are “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” by Chelsea Handler, and “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand.
