She then relocated to Baltimore from Miami, where she did work as a general assignment reporter for WSVN, the leading news organization in South Florida.
Stewart did work as a morning reporter and a substitute anchor at WLOS in Asheville, North Carolina, prior to that. Taylor’s on-air career began at WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she quickly established herself as a one-woman band, editing, shooting, and presenting stories live. For her reporting on police use-of-force practices, particularly the use of chokeholds, Taylor won two Associated Press awards there.
