His real names are Thomas Jeffrey Hanks. He is commonly known for his comedic and dramatic roles in most films he has cast. Hanks acted in school plays, as well as Pacific, whereas attending Skyline highschool in the urban center, of California. He later studied theater at Chabot school in Hayward, California. when 2 years he transferred to CA State University, the capital of California when 2 years. He told big apple magazine in 1986,

“Acting categories appeared like the simplest place for a bloke World Health Organization likable to form a great deal of noise and be rather flamboyant.  I spent a great deal of your time aiming to play. He met Vincent Dowling, head of the Great Lakes Theater pageant in Cleveland, Ohio throughout his years of theater learning.  He started as AN intern at the pageant. His berth stretched into three-year expertise that lined most aspects of theater production, as well as lighting, set design, and stage management, prompting Hanks to drop out of the faculty. He created his film debut with the cheap slasher film He is aware of you are Alone in 1980.


He was born into a family of four children with both parents. His mother Janet Marylyn was a hospital worker and his father Amos Mefford Hanks was an itinerant cook.

The parents had four children the firstborn being Sandra  Hanks Benoiton, a writer currently. Larry is the second born who is now an entomology professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Tom Hanks went with their father, while the youngest, Jim who also became an actor and filmmaker remained with their mother in Red Bluff, California. They often moved to ten different places while he was at the age of ten.

In 1965, his father married Frances Wong, a San Francisco native of Chinese descent. She had three children and Hanks lived with two of the children this was during his high school years.


Tom was happily married to Samantha Lewes in his first marriage in 1978. They later divorced in the year 1987. He, later on, got married Rita Wilson 1988 who is also an actor, musician, songwriter, and producer.



Through his happy marriage with his wife, they got four children. One is Colin Lewes Hanks an actor, producer, and filmmaker. He has played in various films including;

It was declared in May that the film had been changed from Bios to Finch. In the next year 2022, he will be starring in a movie as Tom Parker the sole manager of Elvis Presley, Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann. It is scheduled to be released in June 2022.
