Bob Odenkirk is an American actor, filmmaker, and comedian. He became famous and well-known after portraying a character role as Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013 and its spin-off Better Call Saul from 2015 to 2022. In addition, Odnkirk has also earned five nominations for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Then as a producer on Better Call Saul since its premiere, he has also earned six nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series.

Then in 1986, bone cancer took the life of Walter Odenkirk. Bill Odenkirk, a comedic author, is Odenkirk’s younger brother. Additionally, in Bill’s early career, Bob had been supportive.

Odenkirk went to Naperville North High School where he graduated at the age of 16 years old. He completed high school while he was still very young therefore he had first to attend the local College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Bob joined Saturday Night Live in 1987 as a writer and also remained there until 1991. He then collaborated on many sketches with Robert Smigel and Conan O’Brien, although he was unsure of his writing’s effectiveness for the program.
He did play a number of little roles on the show, but his most notable appearance was in a parody advertisement for Bad Idea Jeans in 1990. Bob collaborated with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Chris Farley during his final year on SNL, but ultimately he made the decision to leave the program in order to pursue acting. He however said that experienced writers like Jim Downey and Al Franken, as well as his buddies Smigel and O’Brien, really taught him many important lessons about creating sketches for Saturday Night Live.
Odenkirk did receive an unsolicited package in 2004 that contained Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s work. He bonded with them because of their distinctive voice, and together they created Tom Goes to the Mayor, a semi-animated show for Adult Swim.

The star of Odenkirk’s Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston is next to it.
Lucky Hank, a new AMC sitcom starring Odenkirk and based on Richard Russo’s Straight Man novel, was announced for 2022. The debut date was March 19, 2023.
