Later, she advanced to become a television reporter working for Channel Seven. Then in Sidney she also worked as a reporter on its news morning show, which was held at 11 AM.
Later, she decided to go back to Britain, where she worked for various channels including BBC Radio 4, LBC, and TV-am and wrote travel articles for The Daily Telegraph. It was so challenging on her part as a reporter since her mother was a prominent figure and a politician, therefore, many newspapers refused to publish work with her byline. She later went ahead and wrote an amazing book, Diary of an Election, which was her first ever book, and later wrote her second book, Lloyd on Lloyd.
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Thatcher and several celebrities were selected in November 2005 on the ITV television show that was called I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Her appearance at the show with her fellow celebrities forced her to at least spend seven days in the Australian rainforest with a minimal supply of food in basic living conditions.
However, in 2007, Carol travelled to Argentina and the Falkland Islands to do a documentary on Mummy’s War, as well as exploring the legacy of the Falklands War.
