Kathryn Mary Draper Garraway(Kate Garraway) is a well-known English broadcaster and journalist. However, Garraway was a journalist for ITV News Central and later a co-presenter of ITV News Meridian in the 1990s. After in from 2000 to 2010 she co-presenting GMTV. Garraway is currently working as the presenter for the Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio and newsreader of the ITV Breakfast program Good Morning Britain.

Family and Education
Garraway’s father was a civil servant while her mother was a teacher. She schooled at Dunmore Primary School and Fitzharris School in Abingdon. Later went to Bath College of Higher Education and graduated with a degree in English and History.
Kate Garraway Career
Kate in 1989 went to work in the South edition of ITV News Central on ITV Central as a production journalist, reporter, and news presenter. Garraway then became co-presenter of the South East edition of ITV News Meridian on ITV Meridian.
Garraway got the promotion after she was “talent spotted” by a boss who viewed her presenting a three-minute bulletin on ITV Central. Later joined Sunrise on Sky News with Martin Stanford in 1998.
Later in 2000, she started to work at GMTV, co-presenting GMTV Today with Andrew Castle each Friday. Moreover, Kate presented one series of Too Many Cooks in 2004, and In 2007, she was the questioner on The People’s Quiz
In addition to that in 2009, she presented The Biggest Loser for ITV and was later replaced by Davina McCall. Garraway was a regular panelist on Wall of Fame, hosted by David Walliams
Kate became the entertainment editor of Daybreak on ITV Breakfast in September 2010. However, Garraway took over from Christine Bleakley as the main presenter on an interim basis on 6th December 2011.
Progress
On 3 March 2014, it was reported that Daybreak would be canceled and replaced with Good Morning Britain. She hosted her final Daybreak and Lorraine shows on 25 April 2014 ahead of joining Good Morning Britain the following month.
Garraway occasionally presented The National Lottery Draws on BBC One from March 2014 until November 2016. After that, she also made a cameo appearance in Hollyoaks.
In November 2019, Garraway came fourth in the nineteenth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
