Career
Mellisa began her career as a reporter at Match TV in 2002. Then in 2003, Theuriau started reporting as a reporter and anchor for La Chaîne Info, where she did become better known to the French general public.
After that, she became prominent and known to the public as a newscaster and travel show host for LCI, the news channel, and also for TF1. During this time her programs were the 6:40 news on LCI, LCI Matin (LCI Morning), the Voyages travel show on Wednesdays at 13:55 on LCI, and TF1 from Monday to Thursday.
In addition, Mellissa did surprise the management of TF1 in 2006 May by refusing the offer to be the anchorwoman of the weekend evening news of TF1, as a summer substitute for sitting anchorwoman Claire Chazal.
M6/Zone Interdite
Métropole 6, in June 2006 which is another French television channel, did announce her arrival in September as editor-in-chief and also the presenter of Zone Interdite.
After that in 2006 September, Theuriau got appointed as the anchor and co-editor-in-chief of the influential TV magazine Zone interdite on M6. So she did stay as the host for six years until August 29, 2012, the date of her last show.
