Saffron Burrows is an English American actress and model. She became well known by appearing in the films such as Wing Commander, Deep Blue Sea, Circle of Friends, The Bank Job,  Gangster No. 1, Enigma, Troy, and  Reign Over Me. However, on the other hand, Burrows did star as Lorraine Weller on Boston Legal,  Detective Serena Stevens on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Dr. Norah Skinner on My Own Worst Enemy,  and Victoria Hand on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In addition to that, Saffron also did appear as Cynthia Taylor on the Amazon Video series Mozart in the Jungle and as Dottie Quinn in the Netflix series You.

Who are Saffron Burrows’s parents? She was born in St Pancras, London, England to loving parents. However Saffron grew up in Stoke Newington. Her father is an architect and teacher, while her mother Susie Burrows is a trade unionist and primary school teacher in Hackney.

She did appear in many films, including Hotel de Love, Lovelife, Nevada, One Night Stand, and The Matchmaker, as well as Dennis Potter’s Karaoke, a 1996 BBC production.

Then after Burrows did appear in an appearance in Hayek’s 2002 Frida biopic. She then committed herself to work on stage. She appeared in Jeanette Winterson’s The Powerbook at the Royal National Theatre under the direction of Deborah Warner. However, The show was on tour and stopped at the Teatro Argentina in Rome and the Théâtre National Du Chaillot in Paris. The Galindez File, a Spanish novelist Vazquez Montalban’s film about a lady trying to learn the truth about the disappearance of a Trujillo critic, featured Burrows performing in Spanish.

In addition, Saffron did play Andromache in Troy in 2004. She created the character of Janey for the Almeida Theatre’s global premiere of Earthly Paradise in January 2005, a play about a love triangle involving Janey Morris, her spouse William Morris, a writer and also advocate of the Arts and Crafts movement, and Pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Later She did share the platform with Christopher Eccleston on October 30, 2005, during a rehearsal reading of the 24-hour play Night Sky at the Old Vic theater in London England.  Burrows also did play the title role in the New Zealand suspense film Perfect Creature in 2006.
