Fearne Wood Cotton is a famous English television and radio presenter. So cotton has however been a presenter on television programs such as Top of the Pops and the Red Nose Day telethons.

Surprisingly in 2007 Cotton became the first regular female presenter of the Radio 1 Chart Show. So she co-hosted with Reggie Yates for two years. Fearn later went on to present her own Radio 1 show, airing every weekday morning from 2009 to 2015. In addition to that in 2016, she went to  BBC Radio 2.

Later Fearne hosted one year show called The Xtra Factor, starting in 2007 it was an ITV2 spin-off from the main show. Then she was replaced from the show by  Holly Willoughby for the following series.

In 2018, Wood began presenting Happy Place, a podcast available to online streaming platforms

Educational background and Early life

Fearne was born in Northwood, London Borough of Hillingdon. So her parents are  Mick and Lyn Cotton. Also has a young brother by the name of Jamie Cotton. Cotton’s father was a signwriter for events such as Live Aid, while her mother worked in alternative therapy.

Wood grew up in nearby Eastcote and was educated at Haydon School. She is a pescetarian and an animal lover.

Cotton has therefore participated in several half marathons for charity. More saw Cotton studied art at A level, a skill she made use of whilst presenting the series Draw Your Own Toons. Cotton bestowed the second series of ITV’s Love Island with Patrick Kielty in2006.
